These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, pages, forms, tools, and any related services that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Who We Are and What We Do

First Pillar Life is a life insurance agency/brokerage that provides information about insurance products and helps consumers request quotes, compare options, and apply for coverage through insurance carriers and partners. We are not an insurance carrier unless explicitly stated.

No Professional Advice. Information provided through the Services is for general informational purposes and is not legal, tax, or financial advice. You should consult appropriate professionals regarding your specific situation.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3) Quotes, Applications, and Coverage Decisions

• Quotes are estimates. Quotes are not a guarantee of coverage or premium. Final rates and eligibility depend on the carrier’s underwriting, verification, and approval.

• Carrier controls approval. Insurance carriers make final decisions regarding issuance, rates, exclusions, and coverage terms.

• Accuracy matters. You agree to provide accurate, complete information. Inaccurate information can affect eligibility, pricing, or claim outcomes, and may result in denial or rescission by the carrier.

4) Communications Consent (Calls, Texts, Email)

By submitting your information through the Services, you agree that First Pillar Life and its agents, representatives, and service providers may contact you at the phone number(s) and email address you provide for purposes including providing quotes, verifying information, and assisting with applications.

How we may contact you: phone calls, SMS/text messages, emails, and prerecorded/artificial voice messages where permitted by law.

Your choice: Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message or contacting us at [etc@firstpillarlife.com]. You may also request help by replying HELP.\

5) User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or systems

• Interfere with or disrupt the Services

• Submit false information, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity

6) Intellectual Property

The Services, including text, graphics, logos, and design elements, are owned by First Pillar Life or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

7) Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may reference or link to third-party websites, tools, carriers, CRMs, scheduling tools, or service providers. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8) Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. If you do not have a Privacy Policy posted yet, you should add one. Where applicable, the Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information, including for quoting and application support.

9) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIRST PILLAR LIFE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIRST PILLAR LIFE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT WILL FIRST PILLAR LIFE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

11) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Pillar Life and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and contractors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights.

12) Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

13) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time if we believe you violated these Terms or if required to protect the Services, users, or our business. You may stop using the Services at any time.

14) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Texas], without regard to conflict of law rules.

Venue. Unless prohibited by law, you agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [Travis County, Texas], and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16) Entire Agreement

These Terms (and any policies referenced, including a Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and First Pillar Life regarding the Services and supersede prior or contemporaneous communications.
